I think this was the shortest summer ever! Although it does feel like forever ago that i had a baby. Maxwell is 3 months. He is huge compared to Hazel at this age. So chubby, love it! We call him "wells". Hazel's little nickname for him...it fits. Haze is starting school this week. She is sooo ready to have some more socializing and stimulation and i am ready for some quiet time with max. Hip hip...hooray!
We had a crazy two weekends in a row with family in town. It was sooo great to have them come and stay and we were so excited to see everyone. First Brians parents came. We wore Becky and Roger out with activities. We hit Pikes Market of course on our way to the Seattle Aquarium, a cruise around the Harbor and my favorite bakery..Dahlias, sooo yummy. Kirkland waterfront and some shopping at U Village, best place to shop...seriously, i'll even do it with kids i like it that much. The weather was perfect, so beautiful.
This past weekend my family came. My parents, molly and ruby. The weather was rainy for the first time all summer. It was still good times:) Molly took tons of pics....i did not take a single one. I will post pics and details when i get them from her.
Now we are off to Newport Beach and Disneyland for my BIG 3-0!!!! How do you say goodbye to your twenties?

Oh my heck! That max is an exact mini of Brian! We are going to California on Saturday for 10 days, when r u guys going? We'll be in Oceanside...we should meet in the middle!
Max is so darling Kate. Your friend is right, he is a Brian look-a-like. I love seeing your pictures. I seriously miss you so bad. I drove by your old house the other day (I was close by) and a single tear ran down my cheek. Are you going to come home for X-mas???? HAPPY BIRTHDAY... a little early. I would love to be a fly on the wall to hear what Hazel is saying and doing at school. So funny!

Little Max is not so little anymore! He is such a chunk! So cute. I am so jealous of the fun you guys had and I want to come visit sooo bad! Maybe I can talk Perry into letting me come by myself in the spring for a few days. I just know I will love it there. I can't wait to hopefully move to a beautiful, outdoorsy place. Hazel is too stinkin cute. Miss you guys! Have fun in Newport. And 30 really isn't so bad :)
Kate! He looks just like Tom Grover. Ok, I'm totally kidding. He is the spitting image of Brian, I just like to bring up Tom Grover for the memories!

"Wells" is such a handsome little guy! I'm glad your families made it out to visit. I hope we're next! Happy 30th tomorrow!! Have a great trip and celebrate it big.
